Waterise and SLR Consulting form a strategic partnership for sustainable water solutions

October 10, 2025

We’re proud to announce a new strategic partnership between Waterise and SLR, combining our patented subsea desalination technology with SLR’s global expertise in environmental consultancy and infrastructure delivery.

Together, we aim to support municipal and industrial clients— including in the mining sector—with low-impact, high-efficiency water infrastructure that meets the growing need for sustainable freshwater in water-stressed regions.

Waterise’s subsea RO systems operate at depths of up to 600 meters, using natural hydrostatic pressure and high-quality feed water to drastically reduce energy use, CO₂ emissions, and environmental footprint. Each modular unit can deliver up to 50,000 m³ of potable water per day, serving municipal, industrial and agricultural needs.

SLR brings decades of practical experience across sectors and geographies, helping clients navigate complex regulatory, technical and environmental landscapes. Their global reach and lifecycle approach make them an ideal partner for expanding Waterise’s impact.

🤝 “This partnership is based on mutual trust and shared values,” says Niels Petter Wright, CEO of Waterise. “It allows us to reach new territories, leveraging SLR’s impressive footprint and capabilities.

💧 “By combining proven technology with deep environmental insight,” adds Bradley Andrews, CEO of SLR, “we’re helping clients address water access and sustainability challenges with confidence.”

This partnership marks another step toward delivering smarter, cleaner water infrastructure for a changing world.
