Waterise and SAFEEN Subsea Forge Strategic Partnership for Offshore Desalination Deployment

May 21, 2026

We are pleased to announce a strategic partnership between Waterise and SAFEEN Subsea covering offshore installation activities for Waterise projects.

As Waterise continues advancing its subsea desalination solution globally, establishing strong long-term partnerships across critical delivery categories remains a key part of its execution strategy. Offshore installation represents an important component of our delivery model, making alignment on capability, mindset, innovation, and long-term collaboration essential.

Over recent months, the teams have worked closely together through detailed constructability reviews, methodology assessments, execution planning, and commercial model development. This collaboration has demonstrated strong alignment around a shared objective: developing scalable, repeatable, and cost-efficient offshore installation solutions tailored for the global water industry.

The partnership combines Waterise’s subsea desalination technology and project development expertise with SAFEEN Subsea’s offshore execution capabilities, and marine operations expertise and regional infrastructure support. Together, the companies will continue focusing on execution optimisation, risk reduction, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement as projects move from development into deployment.

The collaboration reflects both companies’ shared commitment to enabling sustainable infrastructure solutions through innovation, practical execution and long-term industrial partnerships.

We look forward to continuing this collaboration and jointly supporting the deployment of sustainable water infrastructure solutions globally.
