Future Pipe Industries Powers Ahead with Solar Energy: A Bold Step Toward Industrial Sustainability

November 6, 2025

Future Pipe Industries is proud to announce a landmark solar lease agreement with TotalEnergies Renewable Solutions for our Abu Dhabi facility. This 25-year rooftop solar partnership will deliver 1.6 MWp of clean energy directly to FPI’s operations, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and industrial innovation.

This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of Future Pipe Industries and TotalEnergies to advancing sustainable industrial practices and supporting the energy transition in the United Arab Emirates.

This milestone makes Abu Dhabi the second FPI facility in the UAE to be powered by solar energy, following the successful commissioning of a 2 MWp solar plant in Dubai Industrial City. That project now supplies 40% of the Dubai factory’s energy needs and reduces carbon emissions by over 1,300 tonnes annually.

Our solar initiatives in Dubai and Abu Dhabi demonstrate our strong commitment to the United Arab Emirate’s national vision for clean energy and industrial excellence. By investing in renewable energy, we are not only reducing emissions and lowering operational costs but also actively supporting the UAE’s sustainability agenda and the Net Zero 2050 strategy. These efforts align with national goals to transition toward a low-carbon economy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to a greener and more resilient future for the region.

As we continue to expand our sustainability efforts, FPI remains committed to delivering high-performance composite pipe solutions that meet today’s needs while protecting tomorrow’s environment.

Our achievements in renewable energy complement our role as a leading provider of non-metallic solutions across the energy sector. Through advanced composite pipe technologies for both upstream and downstream applications, we help reduce operational costs, mitigate corrosion risks, and support decarbonization across the entire energy value chain, building more sustainable, efficient, and durable infrastructure for the future.
