Saudi Water Partnership Company CEO to Enhance Global Water Initiatives

Boston, Massachusetts, United States – March 24, 2025. The International Desalination and Reuse Association (IDRA) has appointed H.E. Eng. Khaled Al Qureshi, CEO of the Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC), as a Special Advisor. Al Qureshi’s extensive experience in water desalination and public-private partnerships will significantly contribute to IDRA’s mission of advancing sustainable water solutions globally.

In his advisory role, Al Qureshi will provide strategic guidance on a range of key topics including integrating technology and private sector engagement in water projects, enhancing IDRA’s efforts to promote effective desalination and water reuse practices worldwide.​

Under Al Qureshi’s leadership, SWPC has become a leader in water infrastructure, completing over 20 projects with investments exceeding $12 billion USD. His focus on integrating technology and private sector participation has optimized efficiency in water management, aligning with IDRA’s goals of promoting innovation and sustainability in the water sector.
