We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Greening Australia, a national not-for-profit dedicated to restoring landscapes and protecting biodiversity in ways that benefit nature, communities, and economies. 

Together with Greening Australia, we scale conservation efforts to restore habitat for the Glossy Black-Cockatoo, a threatened species in southern New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Habitat loss and fragmentation have placed this species at risk, and Abergeldie’s support will enable the planting of native vegetation to rebuild critical feeding and nesting areas. In addition to on-ground restoration, the project will foster community engagement through workshops, bird walks, planting events and long-term monitoring to strengthen conservation awareness and participation.

The partnership reflects our commitment to protecting the natural environment and contributing to a more sustainable future, which is one of four key pillars that guide its sustainability strategy, which is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Our employees will have opportunities to take part in corporate volunteering days in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, creating meaningful team-building experiences and hands-on involvement in environmental restoration. The Queensland team has already rolled up their sleeves for a tree planting day at the Archerfield Wetlands, helping to restore local habitat and strengthen biodiversity in the area.
