Sultanate of Oman, May 4th, 2026.

GS Inima has reached a major Health and Safety milestone during the construction of the Ghubrah III IWP Desalination Plant, completing four million man-hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI). This achievement underscores the effectiveness of the company’s “Zero Accidents” strategy, which places personnel integrity as the absolute priority across all its infrastructure projects.

The celebration gathered more than 1,250 collaborators, including subcontractors and representatives from the Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP) and GS Inima. The event served to highlight the strength of the prevention protocols and the safety culture embedded throughout the project’s entire value chain.

During the ceremony, the fundamental pillars that enabled this standard were highlighted.

  • Integrated Prevention Culture: This success is the result of shared responsibility and strict operational discipline at all levels of the organization.
  • Vigilance and Compliance: Rigorous monitoring of international standards and local requirements ensures the continuity and technical excellence of the project.
  • Recognition of Commitment: As part of the celebration, 50 employees were honored for their outstanding performance and proactivity in creating safe work environments.

Project management emphasized that this milestone is a reflection of the daily effort of every worker. The continued involvement of the teams will allow this level of protection to be maintained during the upcoming construction phases of Ghubrah III.

This milestone is not an isolated event; it reinforces GS Inima’s culture of prevention. It reflects our non-negotiable commitment to the well-being of every professional and demonstrates that operational excellence is only possible when safety is the top priority in every project.
