MWSC has completed the water and sewerage project in the island of N.Maafaru

A special function honored by His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu was held to inaugurate the new water and sewerage services in N.Maafaru. The event was attended by MWSC’s Managing Director, Abdul Matheen Mohamed, state ministers, and the residents of N. Maafaru.

Under the contract with the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure, MWSC designed and constructed a state-of-the-art water supply and sewerage system in the island.

The total investment of the project amounted to MVR 94.41 million.

Safe water and a secure wastewater system is a significant milestone that will contribute to improving the quality of life for the residents of N.Maafaru.
