Nanostone Water and Solecta merge to form Acuriant Technologies

July 3, 2025

True North Venture Partners has announced the merger of its portfolio companies Nanostone Water and Solecta into Acuriant Technologies, Inc. The newly formed company aims to address complex separation and filtration challenges in sectors such as dairy, food and beverage, life sciences, and municipal and industrial water worldwide.

Acuriant combines Solecta’s precision-tuned polymeric MF/UF/NF/RO membranes with Nanostone’s durable ceramic platform. Both solutions are enhanced by the company’s process-engineering expertise focused on specific applications. The merger results in one of the industry’s most extensive advanced membrane portfolios, providing customers with a single point of accountability for all water filtration and process separation needs. This approach aims to improve yield, capacity, robustness, and efficiency, while also offering measurable sustainability benefits, particularly in areas where traditional technologies are less effective or cost-prohibitive.
